Description | Ilam, June 7, IRNA -- An influential US politician predicted on
Saturday that the United States' military presence in Iraq might
last for sixty years.
William Christian Paul in an interview with the Saudi-based Radio
Free Iraq (RFI) monitored here in Ilam, Iran, said, "Just like the
American forces remained in Europe for sixty years following the end
of the World War II, the situation might dictate the US forces'
presence in Iraq for the same period of time." |
