Description | A survey conducted this month by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research showed Castor the favorite of 35 percent of Democrats polled, with Chiles second with 19 percent.
With one-in-three Democrats undecided, Davis drew 9 percent support and Smith 4 percent. Mason-Dixon pollster Brad Coker said the survey queried 227 Democrats by telephone and carries a margin of error of plus-or-minus 7 percent.
The same survey also took stock of the GOP field, with 203 Florida Republicans asked their favorite in the governor's race. Crist led with 34 percent, followed by Gallagher with 19 percent, Jennings at 9 percent, and 38 percent undecided.
