DescriptionBOSTON -- With a possible run for governor on his horizon, Attorney General Thomas Reilly has leaned on donors from the western suburbs of Boston to fill his campaign coffers.

Residents of 32 MetroWest communities donated $227,830 to Reilly in 2004, nearly a quarter of the $1.1 million he raised last year, according to a Daily News analysis of campaign finance records. And two of Reilly's top fund-raisers -- Steve Grossman of Newton and Alan Solomont of Weston -- both reside in MetroWest communities.
