Description | In the back of Mitch Daniels' transition headquarters, the incoming governor has been plotting his future on a dry-erase board.
At his fingertips is "Mitch's Binder No. 1," a folder jammed with summaries of state agencies, prepared by his transition team.
The Republican's transition office looks more like a war room, where he's been plotting legislative strategy for weeks, preparing for public opinion battles and shoring up his support. |
