Description | WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Bridging the partisan divide on Capitol Hill, Rep. Collin Peterson, D-Minn., managed a rare 50-50 voting record this year in supporting President Bush's positions.
A year-end analysis also shows that Reps. John Kline and Jim Ramstad, both Minnesota Republicans, were on the floor for every roll call in 2004, a "perfect" voting record achieved by only 11 House members and 18 senators.
The Congressional Quarterly study, published Saturday, also found that GOP Rep. Mark Kennedy was the strongest Bush supporter in the Minnesota delegation, voting for the administration's position 97 percent of the time. |
