| Description | San Diego Mayor Dick Murphy is scheduled to be sworn in for a second term today after a state appeals court lifted a freeze on the certification of the votes in the mayor's race and rejected a challenge to the legality of the election.
The court's action yesterday, cleared the way for Murphy's swearing in more than a month after the Nov. 2 election. |
