| Description | Sensing that the gubernatorial race is tightening and has the makings of an upset, the Democratic Governors' Association will be funneling support this fall to Democratic challenger Bill Curry, who is dueling Gov. John G. Rowland in a rematch of their race eight years ago.
Curry's campaign caught the attention of the national group after an internal Democratic poll showed Curry closing the gap with Rowland, said association spokeswoman Ramona Oliver. |
