| Description | A field of five candidates is emerging in the contest to fill the vacant state representative seat in the 57th District that resulted from the death of Roland Stine.
Republican precinct leaders will caucus at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shelby County Republican headquarters, 106 E. Washington St., Shelbyville, to elect Stine's successor.
