Description | SALT LAKE CITY (AP) Gov. Olene Walker has appointed a lumber supply salesman to fill the House of Representatives seat vacated by Republican J. Morgan Philpot.
After serving in the interim, Mark Walker will also be the Republican candidate for Philpot's House District 45 seat in the Nov. 2 election.
Democrat Laura Black and Libertarian Douglas Frank are also vying for the seat. |
