Description | TRENTON - Governor McGreevey has been selected to deliver the Democratic response to President Bush's weekly radio message today.
McGreevey has steadfastly faulted the administration, claiming it has not done enough to help cover the costs of homeland security for states in fiscal crisis.
The short address will cover economic topics, McGreevey spokeswoman Juliet Johnson said Friday.
"The governor is honored. He was asked to represent the Democratic Party to carry the message that Washington should not abandon the states during these difficult economic times," she said. |
