Description | Democratic attorney-general candidate Mark Sidran continued to inch closer to his opponent, Deborah Senn, as election officials counted more absentee ballots yesterday, setting up the very remote possibility that he could win after already conceding defeat.
Senn now leads with 301,557, or 50.9 percent, to Sidran's 290,941,or 49.1 percent.
Sidran is beating Senn by 10 percentage points in King County, where there are still 85,000 ballots to count. Snohomish County has at least 35,000 more ballots and Pierce County an additional 16,000 ballots; Sidran has done well in those two counties, too. |
