| Description | This week, Gov. Phil Bredesen celebrated, if you want to call it that, his first 100 days in office. As any observer of the state Capitol can tell you, it hasn't been a picnic. Still, the new governor can look back on his baptism by fire with some satisfaction. If he can prevail with the current General Assembly, Tennesseans can look forward to a more stable state financial picture.
