Description"The subject of gay marriage may not dominate the race for the Norfolk-Middlesex-Bristol state Senate seat as it did last winter, but four Democratic candidates have plenty of other material to whet voters' appetites.

Heading into the Democratic primary on Sept. 14, two of the four Democratic candidates vying to unseat five-month incumbent Sen. Scott Brown, R-Wrentham, boast lists of endorsements, though of a different nature.

Democrat Angus McQuilken -- the former chief of staff of former Democratic Sen. Cheryl Jacques, who held the seat until January -- has been endorsed by seven groups including the Massachusetts Teachers Association and NARAL Pro-Choice America."
