It hasn't yet come to that. But the Illinois Republican Party, struggling to find a ballot replacement for fallen U.S. Senate candidate Jack Ryan, is clearly having trouble getting its A-list party members interested in taking on what is likely to be an uphill fight against Democrat Barack Obama for the state's open Senate seat. |
