Description | The UK Independence Party (UKIP) is gaining votes at the expense of the Tories in the European elections.
The Tories look set to top the overall poll despite their vote share falling 9%, as ex-TV host Robert Kilroy-Silk claimed the latest UKIP victory.
Labour's vote is down 5% while the Lib Dems are in a nail biting race to avoid fourth place, despite a vote rise.
With only three more results to come, the Greens and British National Party have also fared well.
Elsewhere in Europe, early counts suggest governing parties in Germany, France and Poland are suffering big losses.
As in the UK, Eurosceptic groups are enjoying their best result at the polls.
