Description | U.S. Senate hopeful Charlie Condon said China is a growing threat to the United States, and he lashed out at Republican rival Jim DeMint Thursday for supporting normal trade relations with the communist nation.
Condon, a former state attorney general, said the United States should act to avoid the same errors made in underestimating the terrorism of Osama bin Laden and use sanctions to compel China to halt transfers of weapons of mass destruction to terrorist states.
