DescriptionAnn Coulter blasts Specter at Penn State forum
The Centre Daily Times

From students to senior citizens, more than 400 people crowded into a Thomas Building auditorium Thursday night to hear conservative author Ann Coulter take shots at "liberals" and opine on everything from terrorism to abortion. Coulter spoke for about 25 minutes before fielding questions. The session deteriorated to boos, shouting and name-calling. At the end of the night, organizers cut off the microphone when one student sarcastically said Arabs should be abused and characterized her race as Aryan. Organizers quickly moved to the next inquiry. When asked to comment on Pennsylvania's Senate race, Coulter had harsh words for GOP Sen. Arlen Specter. She said he is probably responsible for more harm to the country than Ted Kennedy or Jimmy Carter. "There is one group of people I consider more loathsome than the Democrats, and that is moderate Republicans," said Coulter.
