Bill Jones' fund-raising pales against Boxer's

| Description | Republican Senate candidate Bill Jones is badly trailing incumbent Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer in the campaign money chase, according to announcements from both campaigns Monday.
Jones, the former secretary of state who easily won the nomination to challenge Boxer in last month's GOP primary, raised $960,000 between Feb. 11, the last time candidates were required to file financial reports, and March 31, his campaign announced.
Jones has raised a total of $1.4 million since launching his bid to topple Boxer in December, and has lent his campaign an additional $350,000. |
