FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Joe Satrom won the North Dakota Democratic endorsement for governor on Saturday, overcoming a boisterous challenge from North Dakota's House Democratic leader.
Satrom got 632 votes to 341 for his challenger, state Rep. Merle Boucher, D-Rolette.
Shortly after the convention's roll call finished, Boucher asked that the ballot be unanimous in Satrom's favor. Delegates roared their approval.
