Description | "Providence, Rhode Island) House Majority Leader Gordon Fox today told a crowd of 150 supporters of same-sex marriage that he is gay.
"I've been in a committed relationship with a man for six years and I am gay," Fox told the cheering crowd at the Capitol. "It's the first time I've publicly announced that and it's an important message to get out."
It was the first time Fox has publicly announced he is gay. He said he hadn't planned to make the announcement today but felt the time was right."
