| Description | The Free Congress Foundation is a non-partisan think tank and advocacy organization dedicated to helping solve some of the biggest challenges to our nation. We know that the American people are frustrated with politics and with the fact that the problems facing their families and our country are not being addressed. We strive to be an organization that puts forward positive and achievable conservative policies that appeal to a majority of Americans and attract support across typical partisan divides.
Under the leadership of former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore, FCF is urgently working to develop and advocate solutions to the government spending crisis that threatens our prospects for economic recovery, but also the economic opportunity that future generations of Americans deserve.
Founded more than three decades ago by one of the stalwarts of the modern conservative movement, the late Paul Weyrich, FCF has a long track record of championing causes during times when our nation’s elected leaders have lost touch. |
