DescriptionTrotskyist party in the United States that existed in the 1980s, affiliated with the Nahuel Moreno-led International Workers League (Fourth International). Ran candidates in Peace and Freedom Party primaries in the 1980s, and was able to get Herbert Lewin, an IWP(FI) member in Philadelphia, PA, nominated as the PFP's presidential candidate in 1988. Otherwise, it encouraged its supporters and readers of its publications to vote for candidates of the Socialist Workers Party, Workers World Party, and Communist Party USA (in that order.)

Information on candidates comes from International Trotskyism 1929-1985: A Documented Analysis of the Movement by Robert J. Alexander.
