| Description | This riding is in southern BC with the U.S. border as its southern boundary.
It includes the communities of Ashcroft, Lillooet, Logan Lake, Lytton, Merritt, Clinton and Princeton.
Nicola Valley manufactures forest products together with widespread ranching; forestry, manufacturing, mining and agriculture are major industries.
Over 80 native reserves in the riding; the aboriginal population was 23% in 2006 census - 3rd highest in B.C.
In 2008 redistribution, the riding was created from 65% Yale-Lillooet; 17% Cariboo South; 2% Kamloops. |
