| Description | This is Anne's Land, the driving engine of tourism on Prince Edward Island, including Cavendish, Stanley Bridge, New Glasgow, Rustico, and the heart of the National Park.
But it is not all about tourists. Part of the district's charm is the highly productive farms that are located there. Rustico, a major fishing port, is a centre for lobster and has a burgeoning tuna industry.
Large pieces of two separate districts came together to form Rustico-Emerald in the 2006 redistribution. Areas of the Park Corner-Oyster Bed and Crapaud-Hazel Grove districts now make up this new one. |
