DescriptionScott County has a land area of 365 square miles and is bound on the west and north by the Minnesota River. The Minnesota River supported the county's fur trading, lumbering, and farming industries in the 1800s. Today, Scott County enjoys a growing mix of commercial, industrial, and housing development, yet also maintains its rural flavor.
