| Description | The Sewickley Borough Council is comprised of nine members, three each from each of the Borough's three wards. Council members are elected for four year terms, with elections staggered every two years. For instance, regular elections for each of the seats are as follows:
Ward 1
- "1-2-1" Class - 2023, 2019, 2015 - one seat
- "2-1-2" Class - 2021, 2017, 2013 - two seats
Ward 2
- "1-2-1" Class - 2023, 2019, 2015 - two seats
- "2-1-2" Class - 2021, 2017, 2013 - one seat
Ward 3
- "1-2-1" Class - 2023, 2019, 2015 - one seat
- "2-1-2" Class - 2021, 2017, 2013 - two seats
