| Description |
This comprises the old Strathkelvin & Bearsden constituency minus four wards. The seat also includes four wards from the old Clydebank & Milngavie, one ward predominantly in the old Clydebank & Milngavie, and one ward from the old Coatbridge & Chryston constituency. The new Westminster constituency covers all but five wards of the East Dunbartonshire council area. The constituency is based around the affluent towns of Bearsden, Milngavie and Lenzie. It also takes in the more mixed communities of Bishopbriggs and Kirkintilloch.
