| Description |
This new constituency consists of 12 of the 20 wards from the old Angus constituency plus 10 of the 22 wards from the previous North Tayside constituency. The constituency is largely rural, stretching into the Glens in the north west and includes Arbroath and Montrose on the east coast. Arbroath has been famous for generations for its locally-produced smoked fish.
