Description
The St. Tammany Parish Council is the legislative arm of St. Tammany Parish Government. The fourteen members of the Council, as a branch of Parish Government, have the right, power and authority to pass ordinances covering several areas including preserving the general welfare, safety, health, peace and good order of the parish and the management of Parish affairs. The Parish Council is bound by the constitution and laws applicable to Parish government.
