Our growing city of 86,918 is a regional center for tourism, education, medical care, aviation, high-technology development and international shipping. Each year more than one thousand ships from many foreign countries sail beneath the historic Aerial Lift Bridge into our seaport. While Duluth is very much an international city, we haven't lost our hometown touch. Duluthians appreciate, enjoy and preserve a wealth of natural resources including numerous trails, rivers, lakes and more than one hundred city parks -- all within the city limits.
A guide to our vast array of city services can be found on this page. You can learn about public meetings, tour departments and their functions, our forthcoming Comprehensive Plan or a host of other exciting programs and services. It's all right here, in Duluth!
