Description |
The presidency is modelled on that of the United States. The President is the nation's head of state and head of government. The President is the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. The President selects and leads a cabinet made up of himself, the Deputy President, the Attorney General and a limited number of Cabinet Secretaries (up to 22) vetted and approved of by Kenya's upper house.
The President serves a five year term (limited to two terms) and has his own unique standard.
