The Governing Council is the European Central Bank's (ECB) decision-making body. It consist of six Executive Board members and 19 Euro-zone governors of central banks.
The Governing Council meets twice a month at the ECB's headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, Germany to discuss, assess and offer action points on economic developments. Decisions are then make every six weeks, and explained in detail via press conference hosted by the President and Vice-President of the Bank.
