The City of Centerville is organized as a Statutory City and is operated by City Ordinances. The Mayor serves a two-year term, and each of the four City Council Members serve four-year terms.
At each of its regular meetings, the City Council offers an open forum for citizens to address them on issues that are not on the agenda. Anyone wishing to participate in the open forum should plan to be at City Hall by 6:15 to fill out and turn in a speaker sign-up sheet.
City Council Meetings are held in Council Chambers at Centerville City Hall, 1880 Main Street. All meetings are open to the public and are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month beginning at 6:30 p.m.
