151-member lower house of the bicameral Parliament of Madagascar, of which eleven members are appointed by the President, 87 are directly elected in single-seat constituencies by simple majority vote, and 64 are directly elected in multi-seat constituencies by closed-list proportional representation vote. Members serve 5-year terms.
