The Prime Minister is appointed by the President as head of the government and approved by majority vote in the Parliament of Montenegro. The Prime Minister assembles and presides over a cabinet. The Prime Minister can serve at the president's pleasure indefinitely, but a successful no-confidence vote by the Parliament can bring down both.
