Rep. Don Steen, a Republican, represents parts of Miller and Camden counties (District 115) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Steen is a cattle and turkey farmer.
An elder in the Ninth Street Christian Church, Rep. Steen currently serves on the Missouri Poultry Federation as executive board member; on the Miller County Farm Bureau as a board member; and on the Ozark Christian College board of trustees. Formerly, he was a member of the Osage School Board of Education.
In 1994, Rep. Steen received the Outstanding Alumni Award from the School of the Osage.
A 1967 graduate of School of the Osage, Rep. Steen received a bachelor of science degree in animal husbandry from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He also attended Ozark Christian College.
Born November 16, 1949, in Tuscumbia, Rep. Steen resides in Eldon with his wife Alisa. They have four children: Amy, Darrick, Scott and Katie.
