InfoIn May of 2004 Nasser M. Beydoun joined PCSI as its President. Project Control Systems, a Michigan based construction and project Management Company. Prior to PCSI he served as the executive director of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as a member of the Board. He joined the not-for-profit trade association in February 1999 and helped lead the Arab American business community prominence on a regional, national and international arena. He holds an MBA and a BBA in marketing and finance, both from the University of San Diego, and Associates Degrees in Business and Science from Henry Ford Community College, Dearborn. In December 2005 he was appointed by United States Department of State as a “Citizen Diplomat.” In September 2003, he was a key leader in developing, planning and executing the first US-Arab Economic Forum. Under the theme “One World, Two Cultures, Endless Possibilities”, the forum brought together over 1400 leaders from the Arab world and the United States to explore and rebuild the relationship between the two regions. In December 2001, he was appointed by Secretary General Amre Moussa, first ever, Arab American Liaison to the League of Arab States and continues to serve as an advisor to the Secretary General Moussa on American affairs. In September 2003, he was awarded the Vision in America Award and named Henry Ford Community College Outstanding Alumni. In September 2002, he was named one of Crain's Detroit Business' 40 under 40 and one of 2003 Crain’s Newsmakers of the Year. He was also chosen the 2003 Community Liaison Award by Michigan Minority Women’s Network and 2001 Recipient of DTE Energy’s bridges award, celebrating Black History Month. He is the vice chairman of the New Detroit Coalition and the co-chairman of the Small Business Stabilization Planning Group working to develop entrepreneurship in the African American Community. He serves on the Executive board of City of Detroit’s Economic Growth Corporation and Brownfield Redevelopment Authority. He is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, Board of the Detroit Zoological Society, Task Force on Lebanon, board member of Harper/Hutzel Hospital and a trustee of the Henry Ford Community College Foundation. He serves on the Board of Boy Scouts of Michigan, Detroit Institute for Children, National Arab American Museum and a former Member of the State of Michigan Arab American Advisory Council. He is member of the University of Michigan – Dearborn, Deans Advisory Board for the School of Management and a member of Comerica Bank’s Small Business Customer Advisory Council. Prior to PCSI, Nasser served as president of Business Source International, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of fresh and frozen food in San Diego, California. From 1991 to 1996, Nasser owned and operated Am Mex Industries, Inc., in San Diego, a Mexican food manufacturer. From 1988 to 1990 he served as a vice president of Hamdan Project Development with overall responsibility for over $50 million dollars of construction and development. Nasser was raised in the metropolitan Detroit area. He is married and has two children.
