| Info | Freeholder Candiate Avery Hart is a member of the member of the New Jersey Board of Nursing, a private practice psychotherapist, an award-winning author of dozens of children’s non-fiction and fiction, and also mental health books. A Penn State graduate, she earned Master’s degrees from NYU and Yeshiva U, and a PhD in Natural Health from CCNH.
Avery currently resides in Kinnelon, NJ, where she founded “Kinnelon Conserves”, a grassroots, environmental education group. She is a wife, mother, and mother-in-law, who has been married to actor/writer, Paul Mantell, for 32 years. A proud member of Pequannock Valley Rotary Club, she was recently honored by the Easter seal organization for her participation as a volunteer at Camp Merryheart in Boonton.
