| Info | Rowle was born in Avon, Illinois on January 12, 1947. The son of a World War II Veteran and a loving mother, Rowle is a “near-native,” having moved to Maricopa County, Arizona at age 12. Raised by his mother in Phoenix, he graduated from Camelback High School; then went on to Northern Arizona University where he received his bachelor’s degree in business.
A Prescott resident since 1977, Rowle has spent the bulk of his 39-year career in the electronic communications field right here. As owner of the Communications Center and the Alarm Connection he has spent more than 30 years providing our local communities wireless communications and security solutions for both home and business.
Rowle feels honored to have served as mayor of Prescott for three consecutive terms. His commitment to serving the public includes a long history of community service. He is a Charter board member of the Silent Witness Program and has remained on that board for over 30 years. He is a past member of Central Yavapai Hospital District for 22 years and has served on the board of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Rowle has been a member of the Prescott Rotary for more than 35 years. He is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Prescott Area Art Trust, the Smoki, and belongs to Masonic Aztlan Lodge No. 1, and has served on many other charitable organizations in the area over the years as a volunteer.
Rowle and his wife Christa have three grown children – stepson Joe, and daughters LaVone and Monica and four grandchildren, Spencer, Camden, Travis and Chamberlain. In their leisure time Rowle and Christa enjoy exploring in their Fifth Wheel, as well as enjoying Arizona’s extraordinary landscape while hunting and fishing.
