De Armond; reelected to the Sixty-second and to the four succeeding Congresses and served from February 1, 1910, to March 3, 1921; unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1920 to the Sixty-seventh Congress; elected to the Sixty-eighth, Sixty-ninth, and Seventieth Congresses (March 4, 1923-March 3, 1929); unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1928 to the Seventy-first Congress; elected to the Seventy-second and Seventy-third Congresses (March 4, 1931-January 3, 1935); unsuccessful candidate for renomination in 1934; resumed the practice of law at Clinton, Mo., where he died January 14, 1938; interment in Englewood Cemetery.
