| Info | Mr. William Herlong began service to Area 24 in 1998. He is a partner in the Greenville office of Anderson and Herlong, LLC, practicing in the areas of technology law and litigation. He received a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 1985, and a B.A. in biochemistry, with high distinction, from the University of Virginia in 1981. In law school, Mr. Herlong was an Articles Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.
Mr. Herlong is a member of the Bars of South and North Carolina and the District of Columbia and a member of the Computer Law Association. He is an active member of the Greenville community, having served since 1998 as a member of the Board of Trustees of the School District (60,000 students, $300 million operating budget) and having held numerous other Board and volunteer positions in various community organizations.
He and his wife, Joan, are the parents of four children
