Info | Mitchell, who headed up a renegade group called "Democrats for Ehrlich," was reprimanded by the legislature's Ethics Committee in 2002 for accepting a $10,000 loan from three businessmen with issues before the General Assembly. He lost his bid for reelection in the Sept. 10 2002 primary, hurt in part by his ethics record and his decision to cross lines to endorse Ehrlich.
