Kaynor; reelected to the Seventy-second, Seventy-third, and Seventy-fourth Congresses and served from February 11, 1930, to January 3, 1937; was not a candidate for renomination in 1936; appointed for life as presiding justice of the district court, Springfield, Mass., in 1936, and served until his retirement July 27, 1949, due to illness; died in Springfield, Mass., May 28, 1959; interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
