| Info | Marino was chosen an honoree of 1999 by The Montgomery County Americans of Italian Heritage Council, Inc. Marino was formally recognized at an awards dinner in October and received the Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his relentless commitment, fierce dedication and indefatigable pursuit of professional excellence in his office where he has served the people of Montgomery County as their chief law enforcement officer for approximately 12 years. He graduated from Norristown High School in 1959, graduated from Albright in 1963 and received his J.D. from Dickinson School of Law in 1966. He served three years with the FBI as a special agent assigned to the Los Angeles and San Diego areas. He returned to Montgomery County and served as an assistant district attorney. For the next 18 years Marino practiced as a trial lawyer with extensive experience in both state and federal courts. He was elected to the Office of District Attorney for three consecutive four-year terms, starting in 1988, another in 1992 and the third, 1996. He and his wife, Patricia, reside on a small farm in Skippack Township where they raise and train Arabian horses. They are the parents of two grown sons.
