Chambers (December 5, 1817 in Montgomery County, Kentucky – September 16, 1895 in Cleburne, Texas) was an American surveyor, lawyer, and politician of the Gilded Age from Texas. He unsuccessfully ran for Vice President on the ticket of the Greenback Labor Party and James Baird Weaver in 1880. The pair received only 3.3% of the popular vote and no electoral votes. At the nominating convention, Chambers received 403 votes for Vice President while Absolom M. West received only 311.
