Architect; member of Massachusetts state house of representatives, 1887-89, 1915, 1917-18, 1923-24, 1927-28; delegate to Republican National Convention from Massachusetts, 1888 (alternate), 1892, 1900, 1904; member of Massachusetts Republican State Committee, 1888-89; U.S. Representative from Massachusetts 10th District, 1895-97; defeated, 1920. Member, Freemasons; Knights Templar; Odd Fellows. Died in Boston, Suffolk County, Mass., October 22, 1954. Interment at Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain, Boston, Mass.
