| Info | As your voice in the State Senate, I have been honored to represent you during my second term in the State Senate. My commitment to serving you has not wavered from when I first entered public office in the State Assembly 23 years ago. When you elected me to the Senate I promised to always keep in touch with you and I have worked hard to do so! Since becoming your Senator In 2003, have held over 46 town hall meetings at Libraries and senior centers in the District. I also visited many thousands of you as I have done doors in the District. It is by hearing from you that I find out what issues are important to you; this in turn helps me to better represent the entire District.
