| Info | Some members of the family have suggested that Hugh was a high school "All American" football player. This doesn't appear to have any basis in fact and is probably based on an article in the 1921 Olean High School yearbook, "Hugh Dollard, right tackle-�Little Hughey� was the All-American linesman, a raving, tearing man on the offense, and a stone-wall on the defense." He ran on the Liberty Union ticket for the state office of Auditor of Accounts in Vermont in 1970. He finished a very distant 3rd to the Republican and Democratic candidates. The Liberty Union Party of Vermont is affiliated with the Socialist Party - U.S.A.
