Info Ben was born December 4th, 1945 in Chicago. He Graduated Roosevelt High School in 1963.

Ben Joined the Army, and served two tours in Viet Nam as a Combat Engineer during 1966 and 1968. Ben was wounded 3 times and is a lifetime member of the Order of the Purple Heart.

After an Honorable Discharge from the Army, Ben returned to Chicago and attended the College of Dupage where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry.

Ben and his Family relocated to Phoenix in 1985. Ben is married with three grown children and seven grandchildren.

In 1998, Ben made the decision to run for Congress because of an increasing dissatisfaction with the status quo and "good old boy" politics, Ben launched a grass roots campaign for the 4th Congressional District. Dispite a budget of less than $6,000, Ben was a prime candidate in this election. (I want to apologise for the missprint of the % of votes I received, I am researching the results of that election, and I will post the Stats soon)
