Info | LUCY LERICHE of Hardwick, Vermont, Caledonia County, Democrat, was born in Morrisville, Vermont on August 4, 1963. She attended Wolcott Elementary and Lamoille Union High Schools. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Johnson State College in 1989 (B.A Liberal Arts) and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 1993 (M.A. Interdisciplinary Humanities). She is a housing development and non profit organizational consultant. She was the Director of Housing and Community Facilities Programs at the Vermont Community Loan Fund, and was the Executive Director of the Lamoille Housing Partnership. She was an adjunct instructor of Humanities at Arizona State University and Johnson State College. She has received numerous honors and awards including the "Housing Hero" award from the Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) in Burlington, Vermont, 2002; the Board Service Award from the North County Animal League, 2003; the Regent's Graduate Tuition Scholarship, Arizona State University, 1991-92; the George and Charlotte Domke award for distinguished service to the college community and outstanding achievement in the Humanities, Johnson State College, 1989. She was the Co-Founder and Board President of Copley House, Inc., 1999-2003, and served on the Board of the North County Animal League, 2000-2003 past Treasurer.
